Arch Henderson acted as the Lead Consultant for all design elements to develop a multi-site solution for the construction of new warships at existing shipyards in Glasgow.
Design of new 320m x 60m x 45m steel sheds with associated high specification offices, new paint cells, extended existing high level sheds with new craneage, uprated building beths and transfer facilities; new dry dock upgrades (gate and dock pits) and comprehensive overhaul of substantial facility.
Arch Henderson was the main designer, with ancillary roles securing all statutory consents. Facilities scheduled for imminent tender.
