Scalloway fish market construction has commenced.
Arch Henderson is providing full design and project management services on Scalloway Fish Market, which commenced on site on 3rd December 2018, with CHAP Construction undertaking the set-up of their compound and preparing for first stage demolition work. The £5.2M capital cost project comprises a 1,420 sqm temperature controlled market area with 300 sqm of ancillary support accommodation. Our client is Shetland Islands Council.
The project, scheduled for completion in early 2020, will see Arch Henderson deliver full professional design and management services on Scotland’s three largest fish markets, following the successful completion of Peterhead market in June 2018 and the Lerwick market which commenced on site in May 2018.
