Q. How long have you worked at Arch Henderson?
I started in January 2023, so just over a year now.
Q. What do you enjoy about working for Arch Henderson?
I really enjoy the variety of work. Projects vary from small designs, to large-scale project management and everything in between. The team is also extremely friendly, and the work environment is welcoming.
Q. How has your career developed at Arch Henderson?
My career has developed massively. Having previously worked in Project Management, I came to Arch with a limited working knowledge of design and analysis. Working here has pushed me to develop my design skills, tap in to university knowledge, and generally broaden my skill set. I have become more versatile in my engineering ability since working here.
Q. What is your favourite project you have worked on and why?
Working on the Barrow-in-Furness Devonshire Dock Quay project has been my favourite so far. I have learnt a great deal about groundworks, soil exchange, and foundation work for large scale projects such as this one.
Q. Your advice to someone thinking of applying to work at Arch Henderson?
I would strongly recommend applying. It is a very welcoming workplace with a very supportive and friendly team. The spectrum of projects makes it the ideal place for engineers and technicians at various levels to work.
